Keeping up with this blog is clearly not my strong suit. I should have made doing better at it one of my New Year's resolutions.
2016 was a great year for Darkhorse Lodge. We met quite a few new friends and supporters and made some headway on our fundraising. A great big THANK YOU to everyone who made purchases on Amazon Smile, Schwan's Cares and in west Tennessee, Kroger Community Rewards in support of Darkhorse Lodge. Every penny counts and you helped us raise A LOT of pennies!
Thank you to all who hosted or attended the many fundraisers held around the country and to our friends and their friends who made Trek For Troops such a success. Our total raised for TTT was $44,022.28. WOW!!
2017 is off to a fantastic start and with luck, hard work and continued support, we hope to get the land cleared, the septic system done and the building foundations completed within the next few months.
Darkhorse Lodge will be up and running in no time. Stay tuned for updates.
